Nada Seva
Nada means sound or musical vibration, while Seva means service. Nada Seva reflects the idea of sharing music with care, generosity and joy. It is a space to learn together, practise together and experience the happiness of singing and chanting as a community.
Nada Seva is a welcoming space for people who enjoy listening to, learning and singing bhajans and shlokas. Through shared music, informal learning and community participation, it brings together children, families and individuals in a spirit of joy, connection and goodwill.
Why this space exists
Many people would love to sing bhajans and shlokas but are unsure where to begin, or worry about pronunciation and getting things wrong. Nada Seva is an unhurried, encouraging place to start: recordings to listen to, lyrics to follow, meanings explained simply, and the reassurance that nobody is being judged.
Who it is for
Children learning their first shloka, parents who want to sing with their family, adults returning to songs they heard growing up, and anyone who simply enjoys listening. Groups are welcome too — many of the resources here are designed for singing together.
